England

I have decided that I will write my blog post about England. I have never been to England, but it
has always been a big dream to go there.

England is not a particularly big country, but it lives about 60 million people there and only in London is home to 12 million. So that means of course that London is the capital of England. London is one of the largest cities in Europe, with a history stretching thousand of years back. (Wikepedia.org)

London has many attractions that people from all over the world come to see.
We have big ben, Buckingham Palace, London Eye, Madame Tussauds wax museum and that is just some of what London has to offer. And let us not forget the shopping. London is a pure fashion city.

The climate of England is very similar to the climate in Norway. The grades range from 0-5 ° C in winter and 15-20 in summer. (Snl.no)

In England the school system is completely different than here in Norway. Their tradition for school uniforms is a bit more complicated than elsewhere in the world. Shortly the school uniforms are used mostly in the fine and slightly more privileged schools to the more fine and privileged children. As the finest private schools (histclo.com)
in England there are four steps in their school system. Nursery (ages 3–4),
The education system is divided into nursery (ages 3–4), primary education (ages 4–11), secondary education (ages 11–18) and tertiary education (ages 18+). (Wikepedia.org).

The British Empire was the largest empire in world history, and the world's mightiest superpower in the 1700 - and 1800's. UK controlled to day by there queen Elizabeth II.

The Help

Film analyse

The Help

The movie the “The Help” came out in 2011. The nationality of the film is USA. The main characters is Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Bryce Dallas Howard, Allison Janney, Jessica Chastain.
The director is Tate Taylor and the genre of the film is historical drama comedy. (Wikipedia. Org)

The story and setting take place in the past, around the year 1960. In the opening scene they are in one of the main characters (Aibileen Clark) houses. And Aibileen is having an interview whit this other main character called Skeeter .
The hole movie is about this girl called Skeeter, who returns back home, from being on college. This movie is from the time when the racial different are very big. Skeeter do not like that. So she decided to interview this black woman (Aibileen)for this book she was writing. . Aibileen told stories of all that year she had worked for white people. Skeeter wanted more stories, so she interviews more black housemaids. When this book gets public the whole city turns op side down. Because the people in the city, recognizes them self in the storyes.

The main conflict of this film have to be that, black people does not have the same right like white people. They can’t have the jobs they wanted. They have to be a maid’s. And if they stand up for them self. They get fired and they have no other job.

Characterization
Eugenia (Skeeter) she is a very specific and loyal women. She does not like that people get different treatment just because of their skin cooler.  Aibileen Clark (the housemaid) is a very kind hearted person, and she is little afraid to open up hear heart. But when she do, its good.
Minny Jackson it’s a very loudly and open person. That almost says and does every thing that is on her mind. And that gives her consequences in the movie.
Hilly Holbrook is a very mean and strict person. She thinks that black people are less worth than white people and that they belong in the kitchen as a housemaid.

The theme of the movie is
racial segregation and the civil rightsmovement (Wikepedia) In the 1960, like in this movie. The racial segregation was very big. White people was higher prioritized then black people. And the movie shows that very good in many ways.

Overweight in USA

The first thing that pops into my head when I think about America is fat people. Did you know that almost 35 % are obese. And the number of fat people are just growing.

One of the many reason for the large number of obese and overweight in the United States is Fast food.
Fast food like burgers, hot dogs and taco. Fast food is so much cheaper than healthy food. United States is known for having the most fast food restaurants in the world. The United States is home to over 14,098
McDonald's restaurants. McDonalds opens a new place about every 4 hours in the world. There are about 46 million people served at McDonalds every single day. And that's just mcdonalds, you also have taco bell, sonic, kfc, pizza hut, dunkin donuts, burger king, wendy's, whataburger and that is just a small part of what the us have to offer.

I think this picture describe the us perfect. Because that's how I see the us                 http://joyreactor.com/post/386794
